Beginners Guide to Quantum Computing

Understand where we are today with quantum computing and what the key concepts are. Learn what has historically been possible, what the difference is between classical computing and quantum computing.

This is a self-paced course that you can watch at any time and touches on introductory topics such as what qubits are in a friendly, less mathematical way.  The course also includes a demonstration of how to submit quantum circuits to both simulators and real quantum machines.

In this Introductory Level course, you will discover:

  • The development of quantum mechanics
  • Quantum computing and difficulties with Moore’s Law
  • Quantum applications and algorithms
  • Quantum hardware
  • Introductory concepts; qubits, gates/circuits, etc.
  • A demonstration of submitting quantum circuits
